YFU Sweden takes your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our privacy policy.
Information Collection and Use
- YFU Sweden collects personal information when you register with the YFU Sweden Intranet, when you use the YFU Sweden Intranet, when you visit YFU Sweden webpages and when you participate in any YFU Sweden promotions or contests.
- When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, birth date, gender, zip code. Once you register with the YFU Sweden Intranet and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
- YFU Sweden collects information about your transactions with us, including information about your use of the services that we offer.
- YFU Sweden automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address and the page you request.
- YFU Sweden uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal clients.

YFU Sweden does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

- These cookies are generally used to identify you as you click through various intranet pages.
Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences
- You can edit your address information at any time.
- We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the YFU Sweden Intranet service, such as service announcements, administrative messages, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.
- You can delete your YFU Sweden account by sending an e-mail to intranet@yfu.se
Confidentiality and Security
- You may chose how much information you want to disclose to other volunteers, by setting your privacy preferences in the "About me" menu.
- We limit access to personal information about you to YFU Sweden volunteers who depend on this information in order to fulfill their YFU Sweden job. This includes Regional Directors, Assistant Regional Directors, District Coordinators, National Event Coordinators, Office Employees, Intranet Administrators, Intranet Moderators and others
- Your data is electronically protected by the best of our knowledge
